Cardiology is a branch of medicine which deals with the study of disorders of the heart as well as parts of the circulatory system. This field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects. Cardiologists are medical doctors who specialize in heart and blood vessel disease. They help in preventing the disease as well as diagnose and treat those who already have them. Cardiology is divided into several fields such as paediatric cardiology, adult cardiology, interventional procedures, electrophysiology and echocardiography etc.

Cardiac surgery, or cardiovascular surgery, is the surgery of heart or great vessels. It is often carried out to treat complications of ischemic heart disease; to correct congenital heart disease; or to treat valvular heart disease due to various causes, which include endocarditis, rheumatic heart disease, and atherosclerosis. Other surgeries include Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery, Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs), heart transplantation and much more.

 • Track 2-2Congenital cardiac surgery
 • Track 2-3Cardiac remodelling
 • Track 2-4Surgical ablation for atrial fibrillation

At NYU Langone's Heart Rhythm Center, our cardiac electrophysiologists implant and monitor devices that either help the heart’s electrical system function properly or measure heart rhythm. These devices include implantable cardioverter defibrillators, or ICDs, pacemakers, and implanted heart rhythm monitors called loop recorders.

 • Track 3-1Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator
 • Track 3-2Pacemaker

\r\n If your pediatrician has a question about your child’s heart, he or she may refer your child to a pediatric cardiologist. Pediatric cardiologists specialize in diagnosing and treating heart problems in children. In those children who might need heart surgery, pediatric cardiologists work closely with pediatric heart surgeons to determine the best treatments and interventions.

\r\n

\r\n A number of heart conditions can affect children. Some are structural differences they are born with. Others involve the electrical system that controls the heartbeat. Pediatric cardiologists are specially trained to diagnose and manage these problems. If you have a concern about your child’s heart, please discuss with your pediatrician whether referral to a pediatric cardiologist is needed.

\r\n
 • Track 4-1“Congenital heart disease” (heart differences children are born with), such as holes between chambers of the heart, valve problems, and abnormal blood vessels
 • Track 4-2“Arrhythmias”, or abnormal heart rhythms caused by the electrical system that controls the heart beat

\r\n Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is a non-surgical procedure used to treat narrowing (stenosis) of the coronary arteries of the heart found in coronary artery disease. After accessing the blood stream through the femoral or radial artery, the procedure uses coronary catheterization to visualise the blood vessels on X-ray imaging. After this, an interventional cardiologist can perform a coronary angioplasty, using a balloon catheter in which a deflated balloon is advanced into the obstructed artery and inflated to relieve the narrowing; certain devices such as stents can be deployed to keep the blood vessel open. Various other procedures can also be performed. When coronary artery disease causes chest pain or a heart attack, percutaneous coronary interventions, such as angioplasty alone or with a stent, can restore blood flow to your heart.

<p style="\"text-align:" justify;\"=""> Doctor diagnosis heart disease based on the medical and family histories, the risk factors, the results from various test and procedures and a physical exam. No single test can diagnose problem. Besides blood test, cardiac solography some other test includes echocardiogram, electropsychoics testing and software interpretation are used for the cardiac assist devices and techniques from which the doctor can know about the heart disease.

Hypertension (HTN or HT), also known as high blood pressure (HBP), is a long-term medical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is persistently elevated. High blood pressure typically does not cause symptoms.

 • Track 8-1Primary : High blood pressure that is not related to another medical condition
 • Track 8-2Secondary: Another medical condition that causes high blood pressure, usually occurring in the kidneys, arteries, heart, or endocrine system. Examples include:
 • Track 8-3Sleep problems like sleep apnea
 • Track 8-4Blocked renal arteries in the kidneys
 • Track 8-5Unusual levels of hormones controlling blood pressure

\r\n A case report on Cardiology gives an appropriate convention for all cardiologists by rendering their important clinical cases of late occurrence. Studying from medical cases provides valuable experience for clinicians, students and paramedical staff -members. Rare medical reports and conditions discovered through the latest methods of examination are energized. Moreover, studying diagnostic methods from medical cases and the interpretation of symptoms is significant to train and burgeon the thought processes which are being used in the clinical field. ‘Conference series LLC Ltd teams with CED, a Joint Accreditation Provider, as Joint Providers of CME Credits for the Cardiology Meetings consisting of physicians, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, scientists, professors and young researchers’
